Kelly A. Tighe's Obituary
Kelly A. Tighe (nee Tomlinson), age 58, of Westlake, passed away Sunday May 10, 2026 surrounded by love, leaving behind a family who will forever carry her spirit in their hearts.
Born in Parma, she grew up in Brooklyn having graduated from Brooklyn High School Class of 1986. She resided in Westpark before moving to Westlake in 2000. She was a force of nature—fierce, passionate, and unforgettable. She lived life on her own terms and loved with a fire that will never fade. She was a devoted wife of 32 years to her loving husband, Lawrence E. and a proud and deeply loving mother to her three children, Emily (Michael Bellis) Tighe of Lakewood, Kevin and Eric Tighe of Westlake, sister of Megan (Tiber) Szabo of Westlake and Thomas Tomlinson of Brunswick. Her family along her pets Maggie and Baxster was her everything, and she protected and loved them with unmatched strength and devotion. She was also a beloved daughter of the late Carol Rita Tomlinson, She is now reunited in peace with her late sister, Mary, who left us too soon along with her other late siblings Kathy, Corrine and Richard Tomlinson. She didn’t just walk into a room; she lit it up with energy, laughter, and presence. Strong-willed, fearless, and full of life, she was the unbreakable heart of her family and the kind of person who made others feel seen, protected, and loved. Her love was fierce, her guidance constant, and her spirit unforgettable. She made broken look beautiful and strong look invincible. Through every challenge, she continued to fight hard, love deeply, and give everything she had. Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, her legacy continues through the love she gave, the lessons she taught, and the strength she instilled in us all. Forever our guiding light, forever fierce. Until we meet again, we will carry your torch. May your fiery spirit finally fly free.
The family will receive friends Saturday May 16, 2026 from 11 AM until time of memorial service at 12 noon at Bogner Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Rev. Charles Ryba will officiate.
