Kayli D. Ownbey's Obituary
Kayli D. Ownbey, age 13, of Lorain, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021, at UH Main Campus, after fighting a long illness, while beating leukemia. She was born in Norwalk and lived all of her life in Lorain County. Kayli enjoyed arts and crafts, swimming, social media, but mostly playing with her sister Cheyanne. She is survived by her mother Kari (Robert Young) Jones of Lorain; father David (Angela Johansen) Ownbey of Wellington; sister Cheyanne Young; maternal grandparents David Jr. and Kristi Jones of Elyria; paternal grandparents William and Darlene Ownbey of Lagrange; great-grandparents Douglas and Carol Magale of Strongsville, maternal Gary and Sue Miller of Knoxville, TN; many aunts, uncles and cousins. She is preceded in death by her maternal great-grandfather David Jones Sr. and great-grandmother Carolyn Bower; paternal great-grandparents; paternal uncles Patrick Shreve, Edward Ownbey. Family will receive friends Friday, July 23, 2021, from 4pm until the time of service at 7 pm at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Rev. Alan Jenkins will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
