Kathy Kotas' Obituary
Kathy Rosemarie Kotas (nee Scimone), age 70, of Leesburg, Florida passed away Wednesday March 13, 2013 at Shands Hospital in Leesburg, following a short illness.
She was born in Cleveland. She had resided in Leesburg the past 11 years after moving from Dallas. She had previously lived in Grand Blanc, MI and Seven Hills, OH.
She worked for General Motors Logistics department in Flint Michigan for many years.
She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Leesburg.
Kathy enjoyed riding motorcycles, traveling, singing karaoke, and visiting with friends at the Eagles and Elks clubs in Leesburg.
Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Jerry, Sons, Frank (Charlene) Kotas of North Ridgeville, Tim (Lisa) Kotas of Pullman, MI, grandchildren, Frank and Adam Kotas.
She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Rose Scimone, granddaughter Amanda Kotas, brother Peter Scimone and sister Donna Balogh.
A remembrance gathering will be held at 2 PM Saturday March 30, 2013 at her son Frank's home, 35280 Downing Avenue, North Ridgeville, Ohio 44039.
Private interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brookpark at a later date.
