Kathy Blumenstock's Obituary
Kathy L. Blumenstock (nee Holland), age 55, of Lorain, died Friday, March 8, 2013 at New Life Hospice in Lorain. Kathy was born December 7, 1957 in Cleveland to the late Ollie Jr. and Rose Marie (nee Baker) Holland and was raised in North Ridgeville.
She was a machine operator at A.J. Rose Metal in Lorain. In her free time, Kathy enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and going for long drives or motorcycle rides to enjoy the scenery.
She is lovingly survived by her husband, Michael A. Blumenstock; children, Jason Spradlin, Elyria, Dawn VanGilder, Lorain, Joshua (Tabitha) VanGilder, Columbia Station, and Derek Figiel, Lorain; nine grandchildren; one great grandson; brothers, David (Glenda) Holland, Alpharetta, Ga. and Thomas Holland, San Francisco; sisters, Deborah Shepler, Medina and Valorie Lauter, Wellington; and step children, Michael, Gretchen and Shannon.
She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Logan Spradlin and brother, Charles Holland.
Visitation will be Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 12, 2013. Burial will follow at Ridge Hill Cemetery, Lorain.
