Kathryn Hadaway's Obituary
Kathryn E. Hadaway (nee Meeks), age 89 of Vermilion formerly of North Ridgeville, died Friday, April 29, 2005 at Community Health Partners Hospital, Lorain following a short illness.
She was born January 30, 1916 in Carlisle Township. She grew up in Pittsfield and had lived in Wellington and Oberlin before moving to North Ridgeville where she had lived for over forty years.
She was a member of Avon VFW Post 7035 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards, and crossword puzzles.
She worked as a Machine Operator for Dreco Plastics Company in North Ridgeville retiring in 1981.
Surviving are 2 Sons, Dale of Wakeman and Harry of Vermilion, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, one Sister, Janet Schaefer of Medina; 2 Step-sisters, Laura Longbrake of Elyira and Emily Chapman of California, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell T. Hadaway in 1991; parents, Harry and Minnie Meeks; step mother Hazel Meeks, sister Marie McIntire; brother, Elden Meeks.
Friends will be received 2-5 PM Sunday, May 1 at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville where services will be held 11:00 AM Monday
Interment will follow in the Ridgeville Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
