Kathryn J. Burgess' Obituary
Kathryn J. Burgess, age 70, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at the Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake after a lengthy illness.
She was born on September 20, 1950 in Elyria and has been a lifelong resident of North Ridgeville. She worked as a mail carrier for Ridge Tool for many years.
Kathryn enjoyed puzzles and word games. She made jewelry for herself and family members, including macrame necklaces. When it came to food, nothing made her happier than a trip to Taco Bell. She had an extensive collection of stuffed animals, but none was more special to her than Gullage, who was by her side for 38 years. She loved her entire family, including her parents Betty and Cordell, who cared for her throughout her life. She also shared a very special, close relationship with her late sister Bonnie.
Kathryn is survived by her parents Betty and Myron “Cordell” Burgess; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins,
She was preceded in death by her sister Bonnie and brother-in-law Larry Ray.
Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville, on Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Services and interment in Butternut Ridge Cemetery will be private.
