Kathleen G. "Kat" Sheets' Obituary
Kathleen G. “Kat” Sheets (nee Fogus), age 93, of Amherst, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2015 at Keystone Pointe in LaGrange following a short illness.
She was born in Auto, West Virginia and had lived most of her life in Columbia Station.
She was a former member of Fields United Methodist Church in North Ridgeville.
Kat was an avid card player and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughter, Banner “Vikki” (Mike) Hohla of Amherst, sons, Benjamin “Sonny” Spade of Oberlin, Douglas (Becky) Spade of Frazesburg; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren one great great grandson and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Banner Sheets in 2000; daughter Rhonda Keene, parents, Samuel and Della Fogus; five sisters, and one brother.
Friends may call Wednesday from 4-7 PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Services will be held on Thursday at 11 AM in the funeral home. Chaplin Roger Loomis of Crossroads Hospice will officiate.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
