Kathleen Schuster-Hangauer's Obituary
Kathleen Schuster-Hangauer (nee Koshnick), age 91, of Avon Lake, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2010, at the Renaissance Health Center, Olmsted Falls.
She was born in Rocky River and had been a resident of Avon Lake for 30 years moving from Rocky River where she lived for 21 years. She also had lived in Bay Village.
Kathleen worked as a sales consultant for Carson clothing Store in Lakewood.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Avon Lake.
She enjoyed dancing and playing cards.
Survivors include her daughters, Marjorie Ann Schuster of Elyria, Kathleen Louise Porter of Canada; son, Thomas Wayde Schuster of North Olmsted; five grandchildren; sister, Marjorie Tennyson of Oklahoma and good friend, Marilyn Jares of Avon Lake.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Melvin W. Schuster; second husband, Harvey Hangauer; brother, Conrad W. Koshnick; sisters, Mildred Render, Eleanor Carter and parents, William and Florence Koshnick.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-5 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday at 9:30 AM at St. Joseph's Church, 32929 Lake Road, Avon Lake. Rev. Timothy O'Connor, pastor, will be the celebrant.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
