Kathleen Handl's Obituary
Kathleen Handl, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 at the Greenbrier Health Center in Parma. She was born on May 22 in Hungary and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1961. She was a member of St. Peter Church in North Ridgeville. Kathleen loved travel, enjoyed fashion. and listening to music. Yarn, yarn and more yarn. She never had enough. Remember her when the weather turns colder, and snuggle into a warm crocheted or knitted blanket.
She is survived by her nieces Karen (Tom) Cooper of Greenville, South Carolina and Laura Zeren of Canton, Ohio; nephew Tim Handl of Raleigh, North Carolina; great nieces Paula (Doug) and Emily (Carson), great nephew James; great great nephews Callahan and Frankie and great great nieces, Claire and twins Beatrice and Birdie. And most recently found (through a family search) cousin, Eva Forche, in Hungary.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents Erzsebet Forche and Agoston Gustav Handl; her brother and sister in law, Les and Barbara Handl, and her nephew Lester Handl.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter Cemetery, 35777 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville (PLEASE MEET AT CEMETERY, DIRECTLY BEHIND ST. PETER CHURCH). Rev. Isidore Munishi will officiate.
