Kathleen Marie Dudchenko's Obituary
Kathleen Marie Dudchenko (neé Juchem), age 84, of Lakewood, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at her home. She was born on November 14, 1941, in Lakewood, where she has been a resident since 1998, moving from Sheffield Lake. She was a 1959 alumni of St. Joseph Academy in Cleveland and went on to study at Kent State University. Kathleen worked as an administrative assistant for Forest City and previously BP, retiring in 2016. She was a member of St. Luke Church in Lakewood and was deeply faithful. She had a keen interest in art and religion and was an avid reader, as she always wanted to continue to learn throughout her life. She enjoyed traveling with her family, where she was always shopping for souvenirs for her family. She found great joy spending time with her friends and joined them for lunch monthly. She loved animals and enjoyed the company of her beloved dog Casey.
Kathleen is survived by her son Paul (Emma Wood) Dudchenko of Scotland; daughters Christine (Chuck) Blankenship of Berea, Amy (Mike) Stringer of Lakewood, Mary (Larry) Gibson of Strongsville, Liz (Rob) Marx of Corolla, N.C., Angela (Bill) Wtulich of Sheffield Lake; grandchildren Molly and Sam Dudchenko, Cory (Mary) Blankenship, Joseph (Ashlee) Blankenship, Jordan (Cody Lee) Blankenship, Ryan (Nicole Corchero) Stringer, Grace (Tyler Hershel) Stringer, Sophia and Alexis Stringer, Aaron (Megan) Gibson, Lyndsay (Alex) Zimmerman, Paige (Christian Hefner) Brunori, Dominic (Katherine Grega-Brunori) Brunori, Chad Marx, Haley (Colter) Smalley, Bill III (Rachel Snyder) Wtulich and Taylor (Kevin) Wtulich-Villa; 9 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Natalie (Dave) Coticchia; brother-in-law Peter (Suzanne) Dudchenko.
She was preceded in death by her husband Stan; parents Helen (neé Barnes) and Edward Juchem; sisters Rosemary and Ann; brother Ken.
Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville on Sunday from 2:00-5:00 p.m. and on Monday at 11:30 a.m. for a prayer service preceding a 12:00 Noon Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville. Rev. Isidore Munishi will officiate. Interment will be in St. Peter Cemetery.
