Karla L. Sexton's Obituary
Karla L. Sexton (nee Stowe), age 75, of North Ridgeville passed away Monday August 30, 2021, at her home.
Born in Youngstown, she had lived the past 18 years in Avon until recently moving in with her daughter in North Ridgeville. She enjoyed spending the Winter months in Fountain Hills, Arizona.
A graduate of Youngstown State University, she was a Kindergarten Teacher for over 35 years, most recently at Bethany Learning Center in Tempe, Arizona until retiring in 2003.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and doing crafts with her grandchildren. A very faithful person: she volunteered with the Vacation Bible School at Fields United Methodist Church in North Ridgeville and had been a longtime active member of Scottsdale Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Krista (James) Jones of North Ridgeville, grandchildren, Nicholas and Jacob Adamczyk, David, Brandon and Lillian Jones, sister, Sandra Staunton of Carson City, NV and brother Ron Stowe of Billings, Montana.
She was preceded in death by her husband James in October of 2020, of whom she married August 30, 1968, exactly 53 years to the day she passed, her parents, George and Esther Stowe and her brother, Richard Stowe.
The family will receive friends Wednesday September 8, 2021, from 2 PM until time of Memorial Service at 3 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Rev. Dr. Tom Joyce will officiate. By request of the family, masks are required. Services will be Live Streamed on the Bogner Family Funeral Home Facebook page.
