Karen Williams' Obituary
Karen Williams, 75, of Sheffield Lake, OH, passed away on September 4th after an extended illness.
Karen was born July 18th, 1947 in East Millsboro, Pennsylvania and has been a resident of Sheffield Lake for the past 18 years, moving from North Ridgeville.
She was an employee of Lakefront Lines for over 25 years where she enjoyed helping others find adventure and joy in their lives as she did in her own.
Karen was the ultimate pool shark when you got her off the dance floor where she loved line dancing. She also camped at Holiday Camplands in Andover, OH for more than 40 years with her best friend Robert Gardner. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Karen is predeceased by her parents Robert and Virginia (nee Uphold) Martin; husband (James Williams) and ex-husband (Thomas B Fowler); sisters Leona Barr and Donna Johnson; brother Charles Victor Lent. She is survived by her sister Wanda Trusler and Bonnie Lent Hrdlica; her children Janice Brooks (husband Andrew), Thomas B. Fowler II and daughter-in-law Peggy Fowler; her four grandchildren, Joseph Browning, Jessica Browning, Thomas B. Fowler III, and Adam Fowler; and her great-grandson, Liam Stump; her dog and sidekick Sandy.
Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Service Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Rev. Chuck Behrens will officiate. Interment will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
