Karen Sabbatis' Obituary
Karen F. Sabbatis (nee Curran), age 48, of North Ridgeville died Wednesday at Metrohealth Medical Center, Cleveland following a long illness.
She was born in Cleveland where she had lived for most of her life until moving to Olmsted Township last year.
She operated Century Tavern in North Ridgeville for the past four years. She previously worked at Nylonge in Elyria for 13 years.
She enjoyed traveling, riding motorcycles, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are her fianc?, David Kaiser of Chesterland, her mother, Dorothy Curran of Cleveland, one son, Vincent Sabbatis of Sebring, Florida, four daughters Tammy Sabbatis of Elyria, Carmen Jones of Cleveland, Jennifer Klanac of Olmsted Township, Keri Sabbatis of Parma, seven grandchildren, four brothers, Wally Curran of Cleveland, Melvin Curran of Youngstown, George Curran of Cleveland, and Robert Curran of Cleveland, four sisters, Arlise Surber of Cleveland, Laura Foster of Parma, Denise Krishak of Streetsburo and Malla Coleman of Austell, Georgia.
She is preceded in death by her father, Walter Curran and brother, Patrick Curran.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be held 12 noon Monday in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Cleveland.
