Karen B. Mytnick's Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Karen B. Mytnick, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who left us at the age of 82. She was born to Harry and Hazel (nee Colbaugh) Berkheimer in Leonardstown, MD, raised in Onnalinda, PA, and was a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 60 years.
Karen lived a life full of joy and laughter, often bringing those around her together with her playful spirit and ornery sense of humor. She enjoyed bowling, card games, Yahtzee, fishing, camping, and picnics surrounded by family. Her love for reading and word searches enriched her mind.
Family was at the heart of Karen’s life. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren, playing games, telling stories, and making unforgettable memories that will be fondly remembered.
Karen is survived by her children Larry (Patty) Mytnick, Mike (Jolynn/Jo) Mytnick, and Kelley (Danny) Feierabend, all of North Ridgeville; grandchildren Johnny, Michelle (Chris), David, Michael, Cierra (Cory), Matthew, and Macey; as well as six great-grandchildren, sister Shelby Miller, and sister-in-law Jackie Berkheimer, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence, parents, sisters Thelma Ann Sanders, Sonia Dezelon, brothers Philip Berkheimer, Ronald Berkheimer, and Lee John Berkheimer.
Friends may call on Sunday, March 8, 2026 from 2pm-5pm at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd. North Ridgeville, OH 44039. There will be a memorial service on Monday, March 9, 2026, beginning at 11am, also at Bogner Funeral Home. Internment will follow at Ridgeville Cemetery. Rev. Alan Jenkins will officiate.
