Karen Muraco's Obituary
Karen D. Muraco (nee Hardy), age 62, of North Ridgeville, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Ames Family Hospice in Westlake following a long illness.
She was born in Connellsville, Pennsylvania and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 8 years moving from Sheffield Lake, where she spent most of her life.
Karen was a manager for Malley's Chocolates in Elyria from 1989 until she retired in 2011.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and shopping.
Survivors include her sons, Ronald (Cara) of Sheffield Village, Brian of Sheffield Lake; daughter, Tammy (James) Spirko of North Ridgeville; grandchildren, Darren, Dominic, Dylan, Ava and James; mother, Frances Hardy of Westlake; brothers, Frank (Sandy) Hardy of Westlake, Greg (Shelley) Hardy of Moyock, North Carolina, Jay (Liz) Hardy of Westlake; sister, Jennifer Hardy of Fairview.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Muraco in 2002 and father, Jay Hardy.
Friends may call Friday from 2-4 and 6-8PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Services will be held on Saturday at 10 AM in the funeral home. Rev. Bob Franco will officiate.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
