Karen Leslie Ennis' Obituary
Karen Leslie Ennis, (nee Balogh) age 67, of N. Ridgeville, Ohio, passed away at her son and daughter-in-law's home in North Ridgeville on November 15, 2013 after a short illness.
She was born on October 22, 1946 in Cleveland and has lived in Florida since 2005, moving from North Ridgeville.
Karen worked as a bank teller at National City Bank in North Olmsted and Westgate, retiring in 1995.
She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, quilting, sewing, playing piano and also raised and showed Old English Sheepdogs. Her greatest enjoyment was found in traveling and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband Thomas; sons Thomas Ennis of Cleveland and James (Diane) Ennis of North Ridgeville; 7 grandchildren; brother Michael Balogh of North Ridgeville; sister Patricia Ferrari of Westfield, IN; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Evelyn (nee Long) Balogh; sisters Evelyn Klanac and Maureen “Jackie” Balogh.
Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville on Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., where a 9:30 a.m. prayer service will take place on Tuesday, preceding a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter Catholic Church. Interment St. Peter Cemetery.
