Karen Anderson's Obituary
Karen S. Anderson (nee Turner), age 52, of North Ridgeville, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2009, at Fairview General Hospital, Cleveland following a long illness.
Born in Berea, she was a life long resident of North Ridgeville.
She received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Lorain county Community College.
Karen worked as a Nurses Aide for Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Avon.
She attended Cathedral of Life Church, North Ridgeville and enjoyed cooking, collecting recipes and watching movies with her daughter.
Survivors include her daughter, Kattie Anderson (fiance David Rice) of Elyria; mother, Judy Turner of Elyria; sisters, Wilma (Robert) Walker of Grafton, Sandra McHue and Sharon Turner both of Elyria; brothers, James (Patricia), Jerry (Missy), Richard Turner all of Elyria, David (Donna) Turner of North Ridgeville, Bill (Melissa) Turner of Parma; fiancee, Nicholas Vassilaros of Elyria and his children, Jessica and Phillip Vassilaros both of North Ridgeville.
She was preceded in death by her father, James E. Turner in 1997.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
Rev. John Helms will officiate.
