Kandiss Niccole Greiner's Obituary
Kandiss N. Greiner, age 41, of Westlake, passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at St. John Medical Center in Westlake after a sudden illness.
She was born on September 14, 1981 and was a 1999 graduate of Marion L. Steele High School in Amherst. She went on to join the U.S. Army Reserve. She has been a resident of Westlake for the past 4 years, moving from North Ridgeville and worked in the accounting department of Western Enterprises in Westlake for the past 10 years.
Her free time would find Kandiss enjoying softball, playing poker and watching Seinfeld episodes. She loved spending time at home with her fiancé Travis, her daughter Kallyssa and her cats.
Kandiss has ensured her legacy will live on through organ and tissue donation. Through that generous decision, she will touch countless others as the family members, friends and communities of these recipients will be forever impacted by their improved quality of life, made possible through her selfless gifts.
She is survived by her fiancé Travis Bruce; daughter Kallyssa Greiner; mother Linda Greiner; brother Kevin (Tara) Greiner; nephews Owen and Jace Greiner; grandmother Martha White; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kandiss was preceded in death by her father Kevin L. Greiner; maternal grandfather Al White; paternal grandparents Janice and Edward Greiner and her uncle Dennis Vecchio.
Memorial Service Monday, May 29 at 2:00 p.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, where family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until time of service. Rev. Bob Franco will officiate. Interment will be private.
Family and friends may gather after services conclude at a location to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made towards the support of her daughter, Kallyssa Greiner, or LifeBanc.
