Kalju Noormaa's Obituary
Kalju Noormaa, age 74, of North Ridgeville, passed away Monday at St. John West Shore Hospital, following a long illness.
He was born in Vanna Castre, Estonia and was a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 28 years moving from Cleveland.
Mr. Noormaa was a steel worker at LTV Steel in Cleveland for 28 years retiring in 1997.
He was a member of Free Methodist Church of Westlake and United Steel Workers Union.
Mr. Noormaa enjoyed collecting match boxes and match box labels.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Anna (nee Bernath); daughters, Linda Noormaa and Gloria Noormaa both of North Ridgeville; son, Carl Noormaa of Phoenix, Arizona and sister Silvia Noormaa of Estonia.
He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Rose Noormaa and a brother.
Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM in the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00AM in the funeral home. Pastor Nelson Blount of Free Methodist Church of Westlake will officiate.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Avon.
