Julie A. Maley's Obituary
Julie A. Maley (nee Beban), age 83, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake.
She was born in Brownsville, Pennsylvania and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for 40 years. She previously lived in Brunswick and Cleveland.
Julie was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville, where she was a Eucharistic Minister.
She enjoyed arts and crafts, crocheting, sewing, planting flowers, skiing, working crossword puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren. She liked going to casinos, playing Keno and the Ohio Lottery.
Survivors include her son, Anthony Maley of Parker, Colorado; daughters, Carol (Ray) Thomas of Sheffield Lake, Kathy (Kellie) Maley of Elyria; grandchildren, Kim, Jerry, Brian, Tony, Jason and Adam; great-grandchildren, Gwen, Maddy, Jos, Roland and Ace; sisters, Helen Ciszewski of Garfield Hts., Stephanie (Al “Bud”) Byczek of Medina; brother, Charles Laba of Sparrows Pt., Maryland; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; parents, Stephen and Mary (nee Laba) Beban; sister, Ann Beban; brother, Pete Laba and nephew, Richard Byczek.
Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday at 10AM at St. Peter Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd. Rev. Andrew Hoover will be the celebrant. Please meet at church.
Inurnment will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
