Julice "Pete" Slone's Obituary
Julice “Pete” Slone, age 91, of Elyria, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at St. John Medical Center in Westlake.
He was born in Lackey, Kentucky and had been a resident of Elyria for over 50 years.
Pete served as a Seabee in the US Navy.
He worked for General Motors Brookpark plant for 30 years, retiring in 1982.
He enjoyed working on cars and eating sweets.
Survivors include his son, Roger (Angie) Slone of Wooster; step-sons, Raymon (Tami) Terry of North Ridgeville, Rick (Peggy) Terry of Alabama; grandchildren, Casey Slone, Kelly (Bud) Romero; step-grandchildren, Raymon Terry Jr., James Terry and Paul Terry; great-grandchildren, Donovan, Devon and Klare; sisters, Lettie of Kentucky, Dixie of Cleveland; brother, Jay of Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Juanita Slone; second wife, Cora Terry; parents, Isom and Maggie Slone.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-5PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Services will be on Monday at 11AM in the funeral home. Rev. Chuck Behrens will officiate.
Burial will be in Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
