Julia Higgins' Obituary
Julia M. Higgins (nee Bartruff) age 87, of Avon, passed away Saturday January 16, 2010 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home.
She was born in Brooklyn, New York. She had lived in Avon the past 8 years, after moving from Huntington, Long Island, NY
She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include three daughters, Arlene (Donald) Keehan of Avon Lake, Julia (James) Falco of Huntington, NY and Susan (Glenn) Klingberg of Las Vegas, three sons, Robert (Dolores) Higgins of Cummings, GA, Gregory (Faith) Higgins of Alta Loma, CA and Dennis (Eva) Higgins of Cory, NC, 23 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Mary Bartruff, infant son Francis, daughter Patricia Malone, sisters, Clare Farkas and Marie Clark, and brother, Reverend Louis Bartruff.
The family will receive friends 5-8 PM Thursday, David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd North Ridgeville. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 10:30 AM Friday at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 525 Dover Center Road Bay Village. Rev. Tim Gereau will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in Elmhurst Park Cemetery, Avon.
