Judith Gore's Obituary
Judith Kay Gore (nee Bailey), age 56 of Elyria, passed away Tuesday at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, Lorain following a long illness.
She was born in Augusta, Georgia and had been a resident of Elyria since the early 1960's.
She worked as a prep-cook for Bob Evans Restaurant in Elyria for the past 30 years.
She enjoyed crafts,her dogs and was an avid bowler who would sometimes bowl two times per week at Brunswick Lanes in North Ridgeville and Grafton.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Russell; sisters Carlyn "Connie" Bailey of Fairview Park, Jean Donner of Elyria; brother Gerald "Jerry" Bailey of Fort Worth, Texas; nieces, Stephanie Shirley, Charlene Engel; nephews, Christopher Bailey, Charles (Porker)Donner; great nieces Veronica, Kaylee & Natalie Payne, Gabrielle Shirley; great-nephews, Brian Engel Jr. and Rafe Bailey.
She was preceded in death by her parents John Robert and Shirley Mae Bailey.
Friends may call Friday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:00PM in the funeral home. Rev. Henry E. Baum, Pastor of Grace Lutheran Church, Elyria, will officiate.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
