Juanita S. "Nita" Waldecker's Obituary
Juanita S. “Nita” Waldecker (nee Gall), age 85, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at her home.
She was born on September 1, 1934 in Cleveland and has been a lifelong resident of North Ridgeville. She worked as the head cook in the North Ridgeville High School Cafeteria, retiring in 2004 after 20 years of service, and had formerly worked at the Hyde Greenhouse in Avon. She also co-owned and operated, with her husband Richard, RV and Boat Storage on Mills Rd. in North Ridgeville for over 20 years.
Nita enjoyed roller skating, playing bingo, games of chance and camping.
She is survived by her daughters, Laura (Jeff) Schroeder of Elyria Twp., Mary (Jeff) Standen of Westlake, Patricia (Donald) Kominek of North Ridgeville; grandchildren, Shelley Chopak, Brian Schroeder, Lori Standen, Shawn (Stephanie) Standen, Richard II (Julianne) Waldecker, Donald (Abagail Wilson) Kominek, Laura (Kay) Kominek, Sarah (Esli) Santiago; great-grandchildren Bailey, Annabelle and Grayson; several nieces and nephews.
Nita was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Richard; daughter, Christine Waldecker; grandson, Jeffrey Schroeder; great grandson Kade Chopak parents Joseph A. and Julia E. (nee Virag) Gall; sister Geraldine M. Smith.
Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd. N. Ridgeville on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Funeral Services will in the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Bob Franco will officiate.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
