Juanita A. Roberts' Obituary
Juanita A. Roberts (nee Akers), age 88, passed away on Monday December 23, 2024, at her home in Elyria.
She was born in Oak Hill, WV and has been a resident of Elyria for the past 70 years.
Juanita worked as a press operator for 12 years, before she retired in 1990 from GM.
In her free time, she enjoyed cleaning the house, tending to her flowers, and taking care of her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years James, children Priscella Blevins of Elyria, Patricia Jones of North Olmsted, Treva (Edward) Kenney of Elyria, and Brian (Loretta) Roberts of Columbia Station, grandchildren Lacie, Eddie, Brooklyn, Savannah, and Marissa, sister Beverely (Darrell) Schilds, brother Ronnie Akers, 8 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Juantia was preceded in death by her parents Ruby (nee Taylor) and Roscoe M. Akers, brothers Melvin, Roger, Audrey, Buster, Billy, sisters Christine and Lois, son-in-law Herb Blevins; granddaughter Stacie.
Visitation will be on Friday, December 27, 2024, from 6pm to 8pm at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd. North Ridgeville, OH 44039.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, December 28th, 2024, at Bogner Family Funeral Home, beginning at 11am. Burial will follow at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
