Joyce F. Schigel's Obituary
Joyce F. Schigel (nee Macuna), age 57, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2013 at St. John Medical Center in Westlake following a short illness.
She was born in Cleveland and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1988.
She worked as a deli clerk for Giant Eagle in North Ridgeville for the past 20 years.
Joyce was a member of New Apostolic Church in Lorain.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, traveling, playing instant lottery tickets and shopping.
Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Grant; son, Chris (Heather) Schigel of North Ridgeville; daughter Stephanie (John) Cleary of Daphne, Alabama; grandchildren, Preston Schigel and Belle Cleary both 4 years of age; sisters, Evelyn Cookie” (Chuck) Campbell of North Ridgeville, Rosie (Greg) Karoly of Pickerington, Barb Buttner of Parma Hts.; brothers, Tom (Barb) Macuna of North Olmsted, Bob (Sue) Macuna of Minnesota, Jimmy (Joan) Macuna of Cummings, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Metro Peter and Mary Macuna; brother, David Macuna.
Family will receive friends on Friday from 11 AM until the time of Memorial Service at 1 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Jeff Sandrock will officiate.
Burial will be in Ridgeville Cemetery.
