Joyce Lee Leonardi's Obituary
Joyce Lee Leonardi (nee Fine), age 78, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at the St. John Medical Center in Westlake.
She was born on March 17, 1947, in Cleveland, and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 14 years, moving from Chardon where she and her husband James raised their sons and lived most of their life. She worked as a bank teller at Security Federal in Chardon, retiring in 2000 after more than 20 years of service.
She was an avid fan of Ohio sports teams, enjoyed going to Bingo, and was very talented at crocheting blankets, which her family will cherish for years to come.
She is survived by her sons Bart (Kristy) Leonardi of Eaton Township and Jason (Natasha) Leonardi of Moscow, Russia; grandchildren Katie, Abby, Maria and Giovanni; many nieces and nephews.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, James M. Leonardi; parents Elizabeth (nee Fried) and Jack Fine; twin sister Dana Kausek; brother Harvey Fine.
Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville, on Friday, December 19, from 4:00-7:00 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Mary Queen of Peace Church, 4423 Pearl Rd, Cleveland, 44109. (PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Rev. Doug Brown will officiate. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Avon.
