Joyce "Joy"'s Obituary
Joyce M. "Joy" Fox (nee Hays), age 67, of Lakewood, passed away Monday, April 16, 2012 at Lakewood Hospital, following a short illness.
She was born in Cleveland and had been a resident of Lakewood the past 46 years.
Joy worked as a LPN for 38 years, most recently at the Aristocrat Nursing Home in Lakewood retiring in 2001.
She was a member of Westlake Baptist Church.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and had great affection for her cats.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Dennis; daughter, Lori Fox of Lakewood; sons, Michael (Kristie) Fox of North Ridgeville, Jeffrey (Aubrey) Fox of Cleveland; grandchildren, Kayla and Abbey Fox, Isaac Baillis; brother, Dale (Carolyn) Hays of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Dorothy Hays and her brother, Dennis Hays.
Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville.
Services will be held on Friday at 11 AM in the funeral home. Pastor Paul Males Jr. will officiate.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
