Joseph Michael Yauger's Obituary
Joseph Michael Yauger, age 37, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at his home.
He was born in Youngstown and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 12 years, moving from Cortland, and Warren, Ohio.
Joseph served in the US Army.
He enjoyed watching Michigan Wolverines and Pittsburgh Steelers football. He could always be found giving a helping hand to his father in law or other family members needing something done since he was a “Jack of all trades.” His biggest enjoyment was spending time with his family, especially with his wife, son, and his favorite dog; Riley.
Survivors include his wife, Katie (nee Schroeder); children, Aiden Callen, Bryce Schroeder; parents, Marie and John White; siblings, Thomas (Monique) Erwin, William Erwin; grandmother, Jackie Ebejer, aunts, Sharon (Steve) Montague and Teresa Merrell; many nephews and one niece.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William “Yogi” Yauger.
Funeral Service with full military honors will be on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville, where family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until time of service. Rev. Chuck Behrens will officiate.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Veteran’s Administration.
