Joseph Vetrano's Obituary
Joseph C. Vetrano, age 73, of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2007 at the Patrician Skilled Nursing Facility, N. Royalton, following a long illness.
Born in Mansfield, he lived most of his life in Cleveland.
He served with the 101st Airbourne Division.
Mr. Vetrano was a truck driver for Murphy Motor Freight for several years before retiring in 1978.
He was a member of St. Michael's Church, Cleveland, Knights of Columbus, Garfield Hts., and the Rakkasans Paratroopers Veterans Group.
He enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include sons, Michael (JoAnn) Vetrano and Joseph (Genia) Vetrano all of North Ridgeville, Victor (Cynthia)Vetrano of Eaton Twp., Erick Vetrano of Cleveland; daughters, Deborah (Marvin) Stover of W. Salem, Gina (Glenn) Worley of Strongsville; 20 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Frank (Linda) Vetrano of Parma; sister, Kay (Claude) Baker of Old Brooklyn.
He was preceded in death by wife, Leleh Fay in 1999; Son, Samuel in 2001; parents, Agazio and Caterina Vetrano; granddaughters, Amanda Worley and Sabrina Vetrano.
Friends may call Thursday 7-9PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville where services will be on Friday at 10:00AM. Rev. Stephen Kaminski, Pastor of St. Peter Church, will be the celebrant.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
