Joseph M. Hiser's Obituary
Joseph M. “Dewey” Hiser, age 32 was born on October 13th, 1990, left this world on September 21st, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. He was a devoted father, son, brother, friend, and his departure leaves a profound void in our hearts.
Joseph is survived by his mother, Michelle Hiser of Elyria, his father, Michael Allison of Lorain, his cherished son, Colby, and his mother Sarah Walker, brother, Michael (Alyssa) Allison II of Sheffield Lake, sisters, Ashley (Chad) Hibben of Avon, Ciara Billman of Lorain, step-sisters Amanda (Mark) Tolbert of Texas and Tracy Simmons of Sheffield Lake.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herbert and Margaret Hiser.
Joseph's interests were a testament to his zest for life. He cherished the simple moments, like taking long walks with his son to watch trains as they passed by, creating lasting memories that will forever resonate in Colby's heart. He was also an avid sports enthusiast, finding solace and excitement in playing basketball and golf, as well as passionately following his favorite football teams, the Cowboys and the Browns. Joseph's competitive spirit and love for sports were shared with family and friends, creating countless memorable moments.
Beyond his interests, Joseph was known for his kindness and generosity. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. His impact reached far and wide, leaving an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know him. His generosity is carried on as Joseph was an organ donor and his parting gift was recognized with a walk of honor at UH Elyria Medical Center.
Joseph Hiser will forever remain in our hearts as a loving and devoted father and a cherished friend. His spirit lives on in the memories we hold dear, and his legacy of kindness and love will continue to inspire us all.
Rest in peace, dear Joseph. You will be deeply missed, but your memory will shine brightly in our lives and especially in Colby's life forever.
The family will receive friends 6-7 PM Wednesday September 27, 2023 at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville where a memorial service to celebrate Joseph's life will be held at 7 PM. Friends and family are invited to join in the remembrance and to share stories of what was his remarkable journey.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the family for the care of his son, Colby.
