Joseph E. Evard Sr.'s Obituary
Joseph E. Evard Sr, age 90, passed away at his home in North Ridgeville on Friday, February 10, 2023.
He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for 30 years and a part-time resident of Springhill, FL.
Joseph worked as an Engineer for Sherwin Williams before retiring in 1996.
He was a member of St. Peter Church in North Ridgeville where he was involved with RCIA.
Joseph enjoyed making wooden toys for kids.
He is survived by sons Joseph Jr. of North Ridgeville, Jim (Gretchen) of North Ridgeville, daughters Julia (Vincent) Oelker of Indianapolis, Mary (Krist) Slanczka of Sheffield Lake, and Jean (David) Becks of North Ridgeville, 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and his sister, Sr. Virginia Evard of Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada.
He was preceded in death by his wife Julia A. (Nee Barnes) and his parents, Ruth and Richard Evard., 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
Friends may call Friday from 5-7PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. A Mass will be held on Saturday at 11AM at St. Peter Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Fr. Isidore Munishi will be the celebrant. Please meet at church.
Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery.
