Joseph Cote's Obituary
Joseph Michael "Mike" Cote, 71 of North Ridgeville, died Tuesday September 26 at Fairview General Hospital, Cleveland, following a long illness.
He was born July 8, 1935 in Baker Brook, Canada, and moved to North Ridgeville in 1973. Mr. Cote retired from the Eaton Corporation in 1991 following thirty years of holding a successful career in the field of financial management. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, North Ridgeville. Mr. Cote was also an avid golfer.
He is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Catherine ( nee Parent); daughter, Claire Hutman (Ken) of Elyria; two sons, Michael (Jackie) of Elyria, and David of Columbus; four grandchildren, Alex, Michael, Molly, and Abigail; two brothers, Jacque and Paul; and seven sisters, Yolande, Gilberte, Georgette, Gemma, Jacquilyn, Fern, and Madeline. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Alice Cote; brother, Simone, and sister, Janine.
A memorial mass will be held at 11AM Saturday September 30 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Rev. Stephen Kaminski, Pastor, will officiate. Private interment will take place at a later date in Canada. Arrangements by David Bogner Family Funeral Home,36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville.
