Joseph Bachna's Obituary
Joseph L. Bachna, age 72 of North Ridgeville died Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at Center Ridge Health Campus, North Ridgeville following a long illness.
He was born January 13, 1933 in Cleveland. He had resided in North Ridgeville the past 43 years.
Mr. Bachna served in the US Army during the Korean War.
He worked as a Truck Driver for C and S Limestone, Columbia Station retiring in 1997. He had been a truck driver for 35 years, with several local companies.
He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, North Ridgeville and the Teamsters Union Local 436. He enjoyed coaching hot stove baseball, hunting and fishing.
Surviving are 4 Sons, Joseph R. Bachna of Grafton, Kenneth L. Bachna, of Elyria, James M. Bachna of Elyria, Peter P. Bachna of North Ridgeville, one daughter Mary Gross of Elyria, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine E. Bachna in June of this year, and his parents, Joseph and Mary Bachna.
Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 PM Thursday at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. A Prayer service will be held 9:30 AM
Friday in the funeral home followed by 10:00 AM Mass at St. Peter Church, North Ridgeville. Reverend Stephen Kaminski, Pastor will be the celebrant.
Interment will follow in the St. Peter's Cemetery.
