John R. Western's Obituary
Johnny R. Western, age 51, of Elyria, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2019 at the Cleveland Clinic. He was born on August 17, 1968 in Knoxville, Tennessee and has been a resident of Elyria for over 30 years. Johnny is a U.S. Army Veteran. He worked as a CNC machine operator for Midway Manufacturing for many years, before becoming a Patient Care Tech at Elyria Memorial Hospital. Johnny was always a prankster and loved being outside, especially working in the yard. The summer months would find him tanning in his pool with his kids, whom he lived for.
He is survived by his wife Chanda (nee Thompson); sons Zachary Western of Cleveland and Spencer Western of Elyria; daughter Olivia Western of Elyria; mother Patricia (nee Brewer) Western; brothers Ron Western of GA and James Western of Elyria; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Johnny was preceded in death by his daughter Emmillie.
Family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 from 4PM until the time of services at 5PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Barbara Habecker will officiate. Interment will be private.
