John Silinsky's Obituary
John Silinsky, age 76, of North Ridgeville, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2008, at the Cleveland Clinic, following a short illness.
Born in Tyler, Pennsylvania he was a resident of North Ridgeville since 1960.
Mr. Silinsky served in the Air Force during the Korean War.
John worked for United Airlines in Cleveland in t he Ramp Service Department for 39 years, retiring in 1994.
He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, North Ridgeville and Maps Military Aircraft Preservation Society. He enjoyed woodworking and hunting.
Survivors include his son, Mark S. of Brunswick; daughters, Leslie Meyers of Dover, Valerie Reischuck of Kent; six grandchildren; sisters, Delores Golembiewski of Garfield Hts., Shirley McCarthy of North Olmsted; mother, Stella Silinsky of Brecksville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita May, 1, 2005 and father, John Silinsky.
Private services will be held at David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville.
Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
