John R. Sheridan's Obituary
John R. Sheridan, age 53, of Elyria, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on April 3, 1972 in Cheektowaga, New York, and has been a resident of Elyria for the past 6 years, moving from North Ridgeville. He worked in Men’s Recovery at Keystone Recovery in Elyria and was always one to reach out a hand and help others. He was an avid golfer and everyone who knew him knew his love for Pepsi, Reese’s Cups and Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream. He is survived by his children Tyler Sheridan, Seara (Ryan Frank) Dennis, Kennedy Sheridan and John and Ema McMillion-Jarven; grandson Kenneth Miller; brother Michael (Tammy) Sheridan; stepbrother Chris (Trudy) Woods; stepmother Mary Sheridan; many nieces and nephews and lifelong friends. John was preceded in death by his parents Barbara Jane (nee Windom) and James R. Sheridan.
Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville on Thursday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral Service Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Rev. Lee Stull will officiate. Interment will be in Ridgeville Cemetery.
