John L. Roysden's Obituary
John L. Roysden, age 77, of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully November 21, 2019 at his home. He was born in Beckley, WV and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 54 years moving from Sylvester, WV. He worked as a millwright for Ford Motor Company before retiring in 2001. He was a member of the UAW, VFW Post 9871, and a lifelong member of NRA. John enjoyed woodworking, restoring antiques especially fans and radios, fishing, golf, anything with airplanes and was a veracious historian. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Elizabeth “Ann”; children Melissa (Mathias) Kaufman of Elyria, John Jr. of New London, Laura Fate of North Ridgeville; grandchildren Madison, Zachary, Kevin, Kate, Kyle; sisters Pam (Steve) Szucs of Cleveland, Beverly Ables of AL.; sister-in-law Brenda Roysden; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Angela Mae in 1966; parents Roy and Anna; brother James. Family will receive friends Monday, November 25 from 5 PM until the time of service at 7 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd, North Ridgeville. Rev Mark Telepak will officiate. Private burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park with full military honors by VFW Post 9871 and the US Air Force. Memorial contributions are suggested to North Ridgeville Community Care, 34015 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville, 44039.
