John R Pajak Jr's Obituary
John R. Pajak Jr., age 66, a lifelong resident of Elyria, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake.
He served in the US Army with the 198th Infantry Brigade during the Vietnam War. He received a National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 3 Bronze Stars and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.
John worked with the US Postal Service.
He enjoyed reading, computers, was an avid Browns and Indians fan and loved his German Shepherds, Bella and Brandy.
Survivors include his brother, Larry (Evelyn) Pajak of North Ridgeville; sister, Mary Lou Pajak of Elyria.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lucille (nee Halitzka) Pajak Sr.
Friends may call Sunday, October 26, 2014 from 2-5PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Services will be held on Monday at 10 AM in the funeral home. Fr. Bob Franco will officiate.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Elyria. VFW Post 9871, North Ridgeville will conduct full military honors.
