John S. Lawrence's Obituary
John S. Lawrence, age 60, of North Ridgeville, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2024, at UH Main Campus in Cleveland. He was born in Lakewood and had been a lifelong resident of North Ridgeville. He worked as a Corrections Officer for Lorain Correctional Facility and was a Veteran of the US Army. John enjoyed Steelers football games, hiking, food and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his son Chad (Samantha) Lawrence of Grafton; grandchildren Colton, Everleigh, Abigail; siblings Ruth Farr, Shelly Lawrence Weese, Patty Lawrence; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Virginia Lawrence. Memorial visitation Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 2:00 pm until the time of service at 5:00 pm. Pastor Chuck Behrens will officiate. Burial will be private at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery with full military honors.
