John R. Kordic's Obituary
John R. Kordic, age 87, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Welcome Nursing Home in Oberlin.
He was born in Cleveland to Julia (nee Ockun) and John Kordic and was a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 48 years. John was a United States Marine and worked as a firefighter and on rescue squad #2 for Cleveland, before retiring in 1993.
In his free time, he enjoyed watching sports and playing golf. He was also an avid left-handed pitcher.
John is survived by his daughter Lorraine (Don) Harrison, sons John (Tatiana) and Jeff (Linda) Kordic, and grandson Alex.
He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Kordic (nee Chessor), parents Julia and John Kordic, and sisters Violet (Bob) Pintar and Marilyn (Gene) Gorski.
Visitation Tuesday, March 18, 2025, from 3pm to 6pm at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd. North Ridgeville, OH 44039
