John Jerome Kerchmar III's Obituary
John Jerome Kerchmar III, age 81, of Cleveland passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2024, at St. Augustine Health Ministries in Cleveland. He was born in Elyria and graduated from Midview High, class of 1963. John also attended the Ohio State School for the Blind in Columbus. He worked in hospitality at the Sight Center of Cleveland. John was a dedicated member of St. Augustine Church. He was also on the board of Trustee’s of the Blind Community. In his free time, he enjoyed sailing and was a CB/ radio enthusiast.
John is survived by his siblings Linda (Denny) Reisinger of St. Petersburg, FL, Deborah Charles of Hancock, NY, and Renae (Paul) Truelson of North Ridgeville, and several nephews and one niece.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years Barbara, parents John and Susan Kerchmar (nee Sklenar)
Friends may call on Wednesday October 16, 2024 from 4pm until the time of service at 5pm at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd. North Ridgeville, OH 44039. Fr. Januarius Lyimo will officiate. Interment will be private.
