John W Foreman's Obituary
John W. Foreman, age 101, of North Ridgeville, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018, at The Abbewood, after a short illness. He was a lifelong resident of Lorain County. During WWII, he served in the US Army, in the Pacific Theater of action. He also served in the Korean War. Locally he was a life member of Post 12 of the American Legion, a member of St. Peter Holy Name Society and the Precious Blood Society. He spent 41 years as an electrician and electrical supervisor for the Harshaw Chemical Co., now known as Englehardt Corp. Mr. Foreman is survived by his daughter Kathleen Heinowski of GA; grandchildren Mark (Rachel) Heinowski, Brian Heinowski, Bethann (Isaac) Galvez, Richard (Mireya) Stirzaker; great-grandchildren Benjamin, Rebekah, Gabriella, Isabelle; many nieces and nephews; He was preceded in death by his wife Alice; parents Andrew and Margaret; daughter Mary Ann; brother Andrew; sisters Helen Haag, Theresa Bott, Martha Peloquin, and Alice Hermann. The family will receive friends Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 11:30 AM until the prayer service at 12:30 PM. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 1:00 PM at St. Peter Church. Rev Rev. Bob Franco will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the St. Peter Memorial Fund or The Vincentions of St. Peter’s Church.
