John P. Erwin's Obituary
John P. Erwin, age 70, of Elyria, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Rae Ann Suburban Nursing Home in Westlake.
He was born on December 27, 1949 in Antigo, Washington and had been a resident of Elyria for the past 20 years, moving from Franklin Furnace, Ohio. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans in Portsmouth, Ohio.
He is survived by his sister Rita Huff of Ironton and Barbara Brown of Portsmouth; brothers LeRoy Brown of Portsmouth and James Brown of Columbus; brother-in- law Kenneth Allen, with whom he had made his home.
John was preceded in death by his parents Willard Sr. and Bertha (nee Horner) Erwin; sisters Debbie Brown, Judy Martin, Jewel Erwin, Elizabeth Ann Allen; brothers Willard Erwin Jr. and David Brown.
Services will be private.
Family suggests donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, 4500 Rockside Rd, Independence, OH 44131.
