John Borecki's Obituary
John Borecki, 80 of North Ridgeville, died Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at EMH Regional Medical Center following a long illness.
He was born in Cleveland and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1976.
Mr. Borecki worked as an engineer for NASA for over thirty years, retiring in 1981.
He was a US Navy WWII Veteran, member of the American Legion Post 802, North Ridgeville, and a member of Fields United Methodist Church. He enjoyed playing golf.
Surviving are his son, John D. Borecki (Debra) of Elyria; three granddaughters, Erica, Nichole, and Natasha Borecki; and a great-grandson, John Michael.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna in 2003; parents, Steven and Mary Borecki; sister, Ann Lohn; three step-sisters, Mary Readance, Sophie Cassidy, and Kate Sadler; brother, Joe; and step-brother, Mitch Mytrisick.
Friends will be received from 2-5PM Sunday September 9 at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville, where services will be held at 10:30AM Monday. Rev. Neriah Edwards, pastor of Fields United Methodist Church will officiate. Interment to follow at Fields Cemetery, North Ridgeville, where the North Ridgeville VFW Post 9871 will conduct full military honors.
