John D. Akers' Obituary
John Derek Akers, age 28, of Elyria, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 21, 2019.
He was a lifelong resident of Elyria.
John was a jack of all trades for Infrasource in North Royalton for the past 8 years. He enjoyed gaming, comics and had attended comic-con conventions. On most Friday’s he would get together with friends and play Dungeons and Dragons.
Survivors include his parents, John and Patricia (nee Burden) Akers of Elyria; sisters, Danielle (David) Tate of Elyria; Kylie (Kevin) O’Connor of Elyria; niece, Krissalie O’Connor, nephew, Kellan O’Connor, niece, Dakota Tate; girlfriend Jessica Browning and her son, Liam Stump. He will also be missed by his many friends
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roscoe and Delores Akers and uncle, Michael Akers.
Friends may call Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 12 noon until time of memorial service at 1 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville.
