Joey A. Hatfield's Obituary
Joey A. Hatfield, age 49, of Elyria, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the Ames Family Hospice in Westlake after a lengthy illness.
She was born on January 30, 1968 in Parma and has lived in Elyria for the past 25 years, moving from North Ridgeville. She worked as a cartographer for the Lorain County Auditors Office for the past 22 years
Joey was an accomplished artist and writer of fiction works, and loved animals, especially her cats and dogs.
She is survived by her daughter Meghan Hatfield of Elyria; father Joe Hatfield of Summersville, WV; brothers Daniel (Heather) Holland
of Tualatin, OR, Thomas (Mae) Holland of Philadelphia, PA and David (Jim Hull) Holland of Elyria; sister Angela (Kurt) Gross of Bee Cave, TX.
Joey was preceded in death by her mother Roseann Holland.
Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville, on Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. Funeral Service on Thursday at 12:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Rev. Chuck Behrens will officiate. Interment will be in Ridgeville Cemetery, N. Ridgeville.
The family requests donations be made to the Friendship APL, 8303 Murray Ridge Rd, Elyria, 44035.
