Joel Arthur Hill's Obituary
Joel Arthur Hill, age 64, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018 at the Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake after a lengthy illness.
He was born on December 1, 1953 in Cleveland and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 2 years, moving from South Euclid where he had resided for the past 33 years. He was a supervisor in the Department of Medical Photography at the Cleveland Clinic, and had been the owner of Pro Color Labs in Northfield. He was a member of the Word of Grace Church in Chesterland.
Joel enjoyed photography, and loved music, playing both the guitar and saxophone. He was also the co-founder of the Greater Cleveland Chili Cook Off for Autism.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Jeanne (nee Cunningham); sister Patti (Roger) Kowall of Gates Mills; brother in law Joe Marinelli of Savannah, GA; many nieces and nephews.
Joel was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Janice (nee Linstrom) Hill; sister Kimberly Marinelli.
Memorial Service Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Word of Grace Church, 9021 Mayfield Road, Chesterland, Ohio 44026.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Joel's name to the Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44110.
