JoAnne Lynn Freeman's Obituary
JoAnne Lynn Freeman (nee Tite), age 62, of Wellington, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2018 at the Mercy New Life Hospice in Lorain after a lengthy illness.
She was born on May 13, 1955 in Elyria, and had been a lifelong resident of Wellington. JoAnne was a member of the Brighton United Methodist Church in Wellington, where she was very active and social, volunteering to work the fair booth for many years.
She enjoyed crafts, especially knitting and crocheting, and loved flowers. She liked classic cars and playing cards and games with her family and friends.
JoAnne is survived by her husband of 42 years, Michael; sons Joshua (Leann) and Christopher (Kayla) Freeman; grandchildren Elliott, Landon, Jamie, Peyton and Triston; sisters Rita (Bart) Lockhart and Terri (Bob) Marquis; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Dean and Janet (nee Vimpeny) Tite; brother Robert Tite.
A Memorial Service will take place on Monday, May 14th at 10:30 a.m. at Brighton United Methodist Church, 51011 State Route 18, Wellington 44090. Rev. James Ellis will officiate. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in JoAnne's name to the American Stroke Association, 7272 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75231 or to Brighton United Methodist Church.
