Joan C. Poorman's Obituary
Joan C. Poorman, age 88, of North Olmsted, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Main Street Care Center in Avon Lake. She was born in Lakewood and had been a resident of North Olmsted for many years. She was a member of Bay Presbyterian Church. Joan worked in payroll for IBM years ago. She enjoyed gardening, sailing, and volunteering at Horizon Day Care in North Olmsted. She is survived by her husband Earl; sons Jim (Allison) Poorman, Bruce (Christy) Poorman, Bradley Poorman; daughter Mary Poorman (Tim Corriveau); grandchildren Patrick, Katie, Brian, Abbey, Kelsey, Luke, Ty, Cole, Vaughn, Corrine; great-grandchildren Bo and Mack; aunt of many. She was preceded in death by her brother James McCartney; brother=-in-law David Poorman. The family will remember her life privately.
